Managing containers using Docker Toolbox for Windows

The Docker Toolbox is an installer to quickly and easily install and setup a Docker environment on your Windows computer.

  1. Download the Docker Toobok for Windows from here.1-Download
  2. Execute the DockerToolbox-<version>.exe on your Windows machine2-Execute
  3. On the Welcome page, click Next.3-Welcome
  4. Confirm the location of toolbox files and click Next4-ConfirmLocation
  5. Select Full Installation or choose components by selecting Custom installation.5-FullInstall
  6. Select additional tasks and click Next6-SelectAdditionalTasks
  7. On the Summary page, click Install7-Install
  8. The setup finishes to create the following shortcuts in the Docker explorer8-InstalledShotcuts
  9. Double click Kitematic (Alpha)9-Kitematic
  10. Upon completion, this lets you login to Docker Hub and create manage containres10-ConnetToDockerHub
  11. 12-ExploreDockerContainers
  12. You may also open Virtual Box at this stage to find the Linux VM for Docker created and running13-VirtualBoxLinuxVM14-Boot2DockerVMConsole
  13. Switch to Docker Quickstart Terminal just installed to be able to manage docker via CLI15-DockerQSTerminal
